Each year, the Phoenix HEART Awards give us a special opportunity to pause, reflect and celebrate the Team Members who make a meaningful difference across Phoenix Learning and Care Group.
The 2026 awards brought together finalists, winners, runners up, sponsors and guests from across our Schools, specialist College, Adult Services, Children’s Homes, Integrated Therapies Team and Central Support Services. More than an awards ceremony, it was a celebration of the culture our Team Members help create every day: one built on trust, shared accountability, compassion and care.
Celebrating the people behind the impact
The HEART Awards shine a light on the many roles that contribute to positive outcomes for Pupils, Learners and People we support. From education and care to therapy, leadership and central support, every part of Phoenix plays an important role in helping people feel understood, supported and able to thrive.
This year’s event highlighted the strength of teams working together across different services, settings and specialisms. It was a reminder that meaningful support is never delivered by one person alone. It is shaped by relationships, consistency, collaboration and shared purpose.
Recognising dedication across education, care, therapy and support
Across our education settings, Teachers, Teaching Assistants, Higher Level Teaching Assistants and Learning Support Assistants were celebrated for creating inclusive, nurturing learning environments that support communication, confidence, independence and progress.
In our care services, Support Workers, Senior Support Workers, Managers and Home Managers were recognised for relationship-led care that builds trust, promotes independence and helps People we support feel safe, valued and empowered.
Members of the Integrated Therapies Team and specialist practitioners were spotlighted for their work supporting communication, sensory regulation, emotional wellbeing and trauma-informed practice.
Leaders and Team Members who champion Phoenix’s HEART values were recognised for strengthening relationships, encouraging collaboration and helping teams stay connected to a shared purpose.
Team Members in administration, HR, maintenance and other central support roles were also celebrated for the professionalism, reliability and care that help our services run smoothly behind the scenes.
